Once in a while a piece comes along that lives up to the phrasing “an exceptional collectible”. This piece is virtually flawless in its craftsmanship and it functionality. It is an exceptional piece of magic.
It is the blended effects of the Tysl Block Vanish and the Sewell Block Appearance.
An oriental l block is seen threaded on a brass rod inside a small cabinet. The block is removed from the rod and placed on top of a pedestal. The rod is visibly replaced in the cabinet and the doors are closed. A cover is placed over the block on the pedestal with the block still clearly visible.. When the cover is lifted the block has vanished and the doors are opened on the small cabinet and the block is seen resting back on the rod!
This is the nicest version I have ever seen. The small cabinet is 10×6.5×4.5 and the pedestal is 12 inches tall. It was made in very limited quantity by Michael Baker and is long sold out. This is one of his finest creations. Sold for $1500 when available. This is new and complete..
