Collector’s Workshop Tray of Doom: unused
This is a wonderful prop that looks the part. The chalice is one of the nicest versions i have seen. It has a magnetic base to hold the chalice together before it takes its tumble.
The effect is (as if you did not know) the magician explains about the chalice and how important it is historically. It was Alexander Herrmann’s than passed on to Kellar and then Thurston etc. until it finally ends up with him. A borrowed watch (or whatever fits the effect) is placed in the chalice and given to a spectator to hold on the beautiful tray. In a few seconds (controlled by a setting) the tray falls apart and the chalice hits the ground! I have seen this performed a number of times and it is hilarious. Great byplay between a husband and wife.
This was purchased and stored never used. That chalice has never hit the ground! The chalice is 8 inches tall and the tray 12 by 18 inches with handles attached. Tested and functions perfectly. Long unavailable this is a classic!
