Early Thayer Dr. Q Locking Spirit Slates: gimmick is real slate: scarce!

I looked for a set of these with real slate for many years without success.. The original early sets had the gimmick made of real slate. It was later changed to painted sheet metal. This is the real slate version in mint condition!    This is a locking set working perfectly.  Doc Mossey Collection.
