Eli’s Die Box from Thayer Magic

There is a chip on the internal rim as shown in the photograph which does not effect the working.  This why the low starting price. We will let you determine the value.

This is a magnificently turned dice box with great patina!  The effect hear is very clever. The spectator puts two dice n a box and records the total of the dice on the top while the magician is holding the box behind his back..  The magician then shakes the box vigorously and opens to reveal the new number to the spectator again behind the magicians back where he cannot see the dice in the box.  He then hands the box to the spectator and ask him as a finale to roll the dice onto the table.  The spectator adds up the total of all of the dice revealed and the performer who has named the total immediately after the final roll of the dice is found to be correct!

Wonderfully made and scarce. Likely turned by Floyd himself.  With a copy of original instructions.
