Merv Taylor’s Tambor: 1950

The production of a huge quantity of silks etc, from a previously shown empty  hoop which has been sealed with rings and newspaper to produce a drum type affair.

This comes with the original box.  The Merv Taylor polyurethane finish is intact.   One of the nicest sets I have seen. The newspaper has been applied to the gimmick with rubber cement which can be easily removed if you wish to perform this effect. The hoop is 9.75 inches in diameter. Hallmarked. Doc Mossey collection.
