Ribbon Through Glass (The Thief of Baghdad) by Michael Baker: few made

This was originally an Okito designed effect that has been beautifully produced by Michael Baker.  A ribbon is threaded through a hole in a wooden case and through the center of a thick piece of Plexiglas.  The doors are closed an immediately the Plexiglas is pulled free from the top of the case  penetrating the ribbon.  Okito called it the “Thief of Baghdad” and actually created one for his son David’s (Fu Manchu) show. The cabinet size on this one is 9.5×4.5×7.5 inches.  Although it has not been sued there are a couple of small scratches on the Plexiglas sheet.  Made is small quantities and no longer available.
