Thayer One Hand Card Rise circa 1930

From my own collection comes this wonderful prop from Thayer magic. It is the one hand card rise.

Spectators select playing cards and they are placed back into the deck and the deck shuffled. The deck is placed into a nickeled houlett and a piece of sold glass is placed in front of the deck and behind the deck. The magician holds the cards in his outstretched hand and at the magician’s command the chosen cards rise.  Complete with the original flesh colored gimmick which is always missing. With instructions. Very good condition.
