The Tarbell Orange Vase: exotic and rare Australian Malle Burl Wood: Angelo Iafrate


IF you don’t Know Angelo Iafrate you have missed out on possible the finest wood turner of today. His pieces are in the finest magic collections and cherished by all who own them.

This orange vase is extremely difficult to turn consisting of the vase, a ball, a shell and a very delicate ring.  Thayer turned the first ones (he made 30 of them in 1930) and they are considered masterpieces today and sell for around $5000 as only about 8 have survived in any condition.

This piece is made from very rare Australian Malle Burl wood.  It is stunning in appearance.  It is in mint condition. The vase is 4 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter.  We will send instructions on the routine.
