Vintage Mr. Buttons Circa 1940: Jack Hughes

A beautiful prop for display or performance. It has that classic look.  All hand painted.

A bell hop figure has buttons on his coat.  There is another tray with multiple buttons and colors as well. A color is chosen and the figure is covered with a hanky and his buttons removed one by one and place into the box. The box is given a shake and when shown the chosen buttons have vanished.  When the hank is removed thy have appeared back on his coat!
