This is a beautiful painted prop from Mel. with his beautiful wood items sometimes I think his painted items don’t get the credit they deserve. They are magnificent in their own right.

This is new is brand new as almost everything I have from Mel is new and is being removed form the original shipping boxes. This particular one has the original instructions signed by Mel. The size is 4.5×4.5×5.5 inches. Has the brass hardware, inlayed woods, magnetic doors and all of the other things you expect from Mel’s work.

Description

A block is shown threaded don on two cords. the box is shown. The door (magnetic!) is opened and the block is placed inside. the door is closed. Spectator is asked to hold the box with one hand on the bottom and one on the top. Magician takes one of the rope from each side and ties a half knot. Now two other spectators each take hold of the ropes from each side. they hold tight and pull on the count of three, the two ropes penetrate the block, the box and the spectators’ hand! All is then handed for examination.

Mel states that this is a similar effect to the one Magic Wagon made with the idea from Tony Curtis
