Collectors Workshop Castilian Card Sword with Custom Wooden Case

The instructions say this is the finest card sword ever made.  I have owned and collected many card swords and i cannot argue at all.

It is a thing of beauty. Handcrafted from steel and brass which has been heavily chrome plated. The round blade will never bend under normal handling.

Some of the finer points include:

The Tip: Has a nesting female section that unscrews providing a place to secure the main card. the tip nest into the tip of the sword providing a secure fit.

Inside the shaft of the sword: rubber has been added to the length of elastic card. This provides additional propulsion of the cards as it is shot outwards relieving stress on the cord as well.

Guard: the steel and brass guard is styled after a Spanish guard ca 17th century.  It is lined with leather to protect your hand. It is made to facilitate the release of the tip which propels the cards which are hidden in a metal pocket. Amazing!

Cards: 1 to 3 are used. You are supplied with a punch set to create the perfect size holes in the cards to allow them to appear at perfect intervals on the blade. You get already punched sample cards along with the metal punches packed in the accessory box in the case.

This all comes in a magnificent wooden case lined with foam and velour to protect the sword.  Note: The custom case is now sold out from Viking/CW!
