Glass Through Hat Circa 1900: rare

From my own collection comes this exquisite glass through hat prop.   It is thread operated with the thread running through an eyelet on the top of the stand through a hole in the base to be worked offstage.  If the performer was solo, the thread could be attached to a wand and the wand used to manipulate the raising and lowering of the rod. I have activated the rod in one of the photos.

I will write up performance instructions if the buyer request it.  An amazing piece of magic that is an impressive shelf piece!  This is large with the stand measuring 16 inches tall and the glass another 4 inches when added. The cloth and glass are replacements but match the required size perfectly.
