Levant Block Penetration: very rare spring loaded version

This is magnificent!  I have had Levante block’s before but never the spring loaded version.  Very rare collectible.

You have to shift a part of the block to access the spring loaded mechanism to release the ribbon or rope.  The rope works quite well.  I have left marking on the block to show how it works. The block is 5 inches square.

The Levante block was used by  Harry Blackstone among others.  You can buy Harry’s original Levante block coming up in one of my four auctions with Potter and Potter over the next two years. Look for it!
