Massey’s Duplex Slate by Viking: no longer made

Wow is this a great prop!  I owned the Massey one and this is so much smoother and easier to use.  It is incredibly built by Viking and has to be done right to function and this one does perfectly.

If you don’t know the effect, a blank slate is shown on both sides. It can even be examined!   It and a piece of chalk is wrapped in a newspaper and when it is unwrapped there is writing on both sides of the slate!  Nothing is added or taken away. Sounds impossible? Not with this great prop!  A wonderful piece of mechanical workmanship by Viking and an ingenious idea by Ed Massey. No longer available. This  is new never used. The size is 8×10 inches.
