Mel Babcock Oriental ABC Blocks: a special item no in his normal catalog

Occasionally Mel would make a special order item no in his regular catalog of works. Those items carried an additional price tag as “one offs” are expensive to make. This is one of those items. It is visually stunning with oriental graphics and brass feet. It is 8.5 inches tall.  I was the first to open the box since Mel Packed it many years ago. I took a few photos of the opening process.
