Original Collectors Workshop Paper Thin Sawing: scarce!

Starting bid: $125.00

I looked for this for a long time when I had my collection.  Never found it  As luck would have it……

The effect is  clever one. A small “alter” is shown that has a brass covering. A card of a woman that is red on one side and yellow on the other is shown and placed on the small wooden platform. The brass cover is introduced and placed over the card of the woman. A single edge razor blade is ran through the slit in the brass cover cutting the card into.  When the cover is removed the card indeed is cut into two pieces.  The magician picks the card up and show it is without a doubt cut into two separate halves. When replacing the card he “inadvertently” mixes the two halves placing the red from one side end and the yellow from the other side on the  on the small platform.  He puts the brass cover over the figure and makes a magic pass.  When he remove the cover the card of the woman has been restored with the colored ends now permanently mixed up on the restored card!

This is complete in the original box with the original supply of cards. A tough one to find indeed.  Does not appear to have been used.

Estimate $250-$350
