Sea-Ling’s “Whispering Dragons”: Richard Gerlitz: Scarce
$425.00
“The Chinese Conjuror Sea Ling had two loyal assistants: a gold dragon named Ting and a green dragon named Tang. The dragons disguised themselves as dice so they could easily circulate among the dynasty and report aback to Sea-Ling. Sea Ling would shake the dice by his ear and the dragons wold whisper their secrets. When resting both dragons were kept in an ornate red chest. This chest was just recently discovered in China and the performer was lucky enough to obtain it. He has been practicing communicating with the dragons”.
A nice effect where the magician is able to tell which die is placed in his closed hand by letting it “whisper” to him. With instructions. As with all Gerlitz pieces these were made in very limited numbers. Those that have them cherish them so they rarely come up for sale. The box is two inches long. All in as new condition.
