Strange Cabinet of Deodar by Edward Massey: scarce and one of Massey’s finest: 1950’s

$395.00

Ed Massey was a genius.  He developed some of the most innovative magic of his day that still holds true by today’s standards!

This is one of his finest and most deceptive creations.  Look at the photos. A full (ungimmicked) glass of water is placed into a small cabinet completely filling it. The door is closed and seven wooden spikes are pushed through holes in the cabinet in one side and out the other.  This is all done in full view of the audience. The cabinet is shown all around (see photos: the glass is in there!).  Spikes removed, the door opened and the full glass of water is removed!  It will fool you as you do it!  It could be performed close up! An amazing piece of magic in very good condition from the 1950’s.
