Thayer Locking Card Box: scarce circa 1930

This is a beauty and difficult to find one functioning perfectly as this one is. It is the regular size card box and is in excellent condition. Circa 1930. If you collect Thayer props you  know these are hard to find working after 90 years.  This is the pressure method of releasing the flap as with the locking hank boxes. The flap starts out locked into place,  releases and then locks back into place.
