The Encyclopedia of Stage Illusions by Burling Hull: scarce with original prospectus

Hull, Burling and Ormond McGill (ed.). The Encyclopedia of Stage Illusions. Oakland: Magic Limited, 1980. From the first and only edition of 500 copies, many of which were suppressed due to copyright infringement claims. Black plush vinyl hardcovers lettered in gilt, pictorial dust-jacket priced $100. Heavily illustrated with diagrams and photos. 4to. Minor creasing and short tears to jacket and fading in the spine area of the jacket as shown., else very good. Has original book prospectus.

The dust jacket on these is really fragile and this one is in unusually good condition as they are normally torn or not on at all.  I will put a Mylar cover on it before shipping. Bookplate of the former owner who is  MIMC (Member Inner Magic Circle).
