The Impossible Dream developed by Rich Bloch and Manufactured by Collector’s Workshop

Rich Bloch Developed this idea in 2009 and began making them on a special order basis.  Rich could not keep up with the demand and after making them himself in limited quantity he turned the project over to George Robinson who began making them for his Viking/Collectors Workshop  Magic Company.  This is one of George’s exquisite sets he produced. The wood is is absolutely stunning.

It is a nest of boxes effect where a borrowed coin or ring is vanished and appears in a nest of three locked boxes (the last being a metal locked box you will recognize as Joe Porper’s strong box). The amazing thing is the boxes have been on the table in full view at all times. The inner box is actually loaded by the performer right in front of the spectator as he opens the two outer boxes and hands the inner box to the spectator to open.  These are innocent appearing boxes but the load is easy to do via the makeup of the boxes and the superb handling developed over time and performances by Rich.
