The Mysterious Desk: A Magical Recreation: #3 of 20 made

This is a faithful reproduction of a 19th Century Magic Trick from Wyman’s Handbook of Magic published in 1851.  It is housed in its own beautiful packing case with a brass plate on top.  There were 25 made but only 20 sold to the public.  Beautifully crated by Tony Karpinski in 2004. It sold for $295 when issued. Never used.

A box is show and a dime placed in and locked.  A small box attached to the box by a  ribbon is shown and placed on a small glass. The dime is heard and seen to fall into the glass and the larger box is opened to reveal it is empty. A wonderful transposition! The custom case is 12×5.5×3.75 inches.
