Vintage wands set: one gimmicked (silk wand) and one a matching non gimmicked

Not sure what I have here.  I assume they are rare since i have never seen another set. Maybe one of a kind.  Made of two types of dark wood.  I know they have age to them but have no idea who made them.  The tip of the silk wand is cracked as shown. 14 inches long.  May be the buy of the week.  I will know of Bill Spooner buys them.
