Walt Sheppard Crystal Silk Cylinder

Dr. ALbo called him one of the modern day master craftsman.  I couldn’t agree more. I called him friend for many years.  I watched these props being built so I know what went into them. 9 coats of paint, wet sanded between each coat. They took many days to build in Walt’s shop before Helen wuld apply the final decals and then the decals were sealed to make the prop something that should last forever.  This was heavy and made to be used.  Walt hated it when the props were put on a shelf.  He wanted them used!

Expensive in their day (they had to be to make a profit) Walter’s props have stood the test of time.  This is a beauty in excellent condition. 16 inches tall. Silks not included.
