From my own personal collection. My friend Bill Spooner is THE wand expert. He has seen two of these, this one and the one he owns. It is an amazing piece of machinery. It is a wand which begins the water fountain act. Water spurts from the wand and as it touches items water spurts from them. You have seen photos of both Thurston and Dante doing this effect.
It is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship. It has a bladder built in it. It has a check valve which turns it on and off. It has a rotating cover that opens to release the mini water spout (otherwise it appears to be a normal. wand). It is heavy as you would expect. 14 inches long.
This is sold as an amazing piece of rare magic history. It is for collectors. Don’t think you are going to go out and do the water act with it. Put it on your shelf and explain it to visitors as they come over to view your collection. That is what I did! If you are not a collector, move on to another item in the auction as it is not for you..
